Your information will never be sold or shared, and is
used solely within the company in order to fulfill your order.
E-Mail address and a telephone number where we can reach you are
required for tracking & delivery information of your order, and
for contacting you if there is a problem with your order. On
rare occasion, we may e-mail you to offer you a special
discount, or to ask you how we can serve you better. If you do
not wish to receive such offers, just tell us, and we will only
e-mail you when pertinent to your order.
We are proud to be partnered with Cardservice International for
our merchant account, and Linkpoint International which provides
the secure gateway for safe processing of your personal and
credit card information. We chose a top of the line store
program - Miva Merchant - to provide you with a secure and safe
shopping environment, utilizing SSL encryption.
We use real-time credit card processing, meaning your information is verified via a secure payment gateway at the time of your transaction. We do not see nor have access to your complete credit card number.
Store Design
We have done our best to make shopping at Plain Brown Tabby Toys
and Treats simple and fast. If you have any questions or
concerns, please contact us. We welcome your suggestions, and
want to be your favorite place to shop for your kitty!
We accept Master Card and Visa, or you may write a check.
To pay by check - shop as usual in our store, placing the items
you want in your shopping basket.
When done, go to "Checkout" and fill out the billing and
shipping information, and on the next screen, when it asks for
payment method, choose "check". You will be asked for the number
of the check you will be using, and then can complete the
transaction. The acknowledgement of your order page will give
you our mailing address and your total, including shipping fees.
Check-Out Status
As you go through check-out, you will see a status message
telling you which stage (1-4) you are on, so you can quickly
check your progress through this process.
You can shop by browsing our
Site Map that lists all our product categories, and the
products in each category. If you see something you would like
or if you want to see a detailed description and a photo of the
toy or treat, you can click on the product name and it will take
you right to the item in our store.
Or you can enter our store directly by clicking on Shop
or
Store Front.
Once you have entered our store, you may
-- browse our store by clicking on any of the categories
-- search our store by putting in a brand name or descriptive
words (i.e."Whole Life Pet Treats" or "feather teasers")
-- or view our entire product list.
If you wish to save time, you may set up an account, an option
once you have entered the store. Your information is kept
private & secure, never sold or shared! Once your account is set
up, your information is stored as a cookie (Not one that
allows us to track where you have been or where you are going,
just one that recognizes you) and you will not have to type in
your name and address etc. each time you shop.
Or, you may shop without setting up an account. It is your
choice.
Shopping Tip!
If you wish to buy more than one of an item, the easiest and
fastest way is to click on the product to go to it's product
description. You will see a box where you can adjust the
quantity of that item you wish to buy up from 1 to what ever you
wish.
Shipping/Account features
You can now store, as part of your customer account, multiple
shipping and billing addresses and choose from a drop-down menu
of those addresses, during Check-out. You can choose "Advanced
Shipping Options" during Checkout to choose multiple shipping
addresses for each order, choosing for example to send a Gift
Basket to one friend, and to have Kitty Kaviar shipped to
yourself. You also have the option to choose a different
shipping method for each address being shipped to.
**NOTE:If your order qualifies for free shipping and you
are choosing multiple shipping addresses for that order, you
will only receive free shipping to those addresses where the
products (exception: all gift baskets are shipped
free) total $50.
For example: You order a Plain Brown Box Dozen of Kitty Kaviar
and other items totaling $60 to be shipped to your home address,
and a second Plain Brown Box Dozen (under $40) to be shipped to
a friend. The products totalling $60 will be shipped free,
because the products going to the second ship to address total
$42.15 you will be given shipping options (parcel post, priority
mail or FedEx).
Mini-Basket
While shopping, you will notice a "mini-basket" along the left
hand side of your screen. It shows the contents of your basket -
listing the name of each item you've added to your basket, along
with the quantity. It automatically updates as you add or remove
items. There is also a "Recently Viewed Items" button that you
can click on to see all the items you've viewed while browsing
or shopping. When you are ready to check-out, you can just click
on the "check-out button" on your mini-basket, or use the
"check-out" button on the menu bar at the top of your screen as
usual.
Waiting List
If you wish to be notifed when an "Out of Stock" product is back
in stock, just click on the "Wait List" link - located on the
product's description page. You will receive an email notifying
you when the product is back in stock.
Coupon Options
Each product has a place for you to type in a promotional
code - to see if a product has a current promotion, click on
the name of the item (which will be highlighted as a clickable
link) to go to the product description page for that item. This
is for special limited sales, and surprise unadvertised sales!
We also have sales or specials which may require a coupon code
to be used at checkout time for the discount to be applied and
your sub-total adjusted. See our
What's New page for each months current sale or special!
**Be sure to scroll down if the checkout page does not
completely show on your screen during checkout, so you will not
miss the prompt for the coupon code.
Tell A Friend!
If you have a friend you think would enjoy our site and our toys
and treats, use the "Tell A Friend" link, located above your
Mini-Basket. Clicking on this button will bring up a screen
allowing you to put in your email address and name (so your
friend will know who has referred our site to them), and you can
list up to 3 friends email addresses, click "send", and they
will receive an email with a clickable link to the page you were
on.
To recomend a specific product, open that product's description
page and then click on the "Tell A Friend" link. To refer them
to the entire store, click on the "Tell A Friend" link while on
the main storefront page listing all the product categories and
the photo of the lovely Ms. Zoey playing with her Kitty Kaviar.
Customer Reviews Now Accepted
We have upgraded our site to accept your review of our
products. To read other's reviews, or add your own, click on the
product's name to go to it's product description page. At the
bottom of the description, is a prompt to log in to your
customer account (you must have an account with us to submit a
review), then follow the prompts.
You may have your name public with your review or be
anonymous. All reviews are subject to approval, so that only
appropriate language is on our family friendly site.
Orders are shipped within 2 business days (an exception is if
there is a postal holiday). If paying by check, your order will
ship as soon as your check has cleared our bank. **Due to injury, we are discontinuing
shipping on Saturdays. Orders placed on Monday through Wednesday
will be shipped within 2 business days.
Orders placed on Thursday through Friday, will be shipped on
Monday. Orders placed Saturday and Sunday will ship on Tuesday.
We ship only to the 50 US states. No APO/FPO addresses.
We ship USPS Priority or Parcel Post, & FedEx Home Delivery.
Please note: FedEx does NOT ship to PO Boxes. If you can not
provide a street address, you must choose Parcel Post or
Priority Mail as your shipping method.
Shipping cost is based on the weight of your packed order and
postal zone or address, and your shipping cost is added at the
time of your order, no surprises.
**All orders that qualify for free
shipping will be shipped via FedEx or Priority Mail - our choice
based on cost.(i.e. free shipping orders to Hawaii and Alaska
will be via Priority Mail).
Orders shipped via Parcel Post or Priority Mail are shipped with
delivery confirmation - at no cost to you. If you choose FedEx,
you will be provided with the tracking number.
Please note we are not responsible if you have given us an
incorrect shipping address! Nor are we responsible for your
package once it has been delivered per the Post Office or FedEx.
We do not provide replacements for stolen packages.
Orders of $50 (sub-total) or more, receive FREE FedEx or
Priority Mail shipping - our choice based on cost.(Alaska and
Hawaii receive free Priority Mail shipping)
Excludes purchases of PawPrints Memory Box or Wall
Frame, Doggy Hoots Wee Doggies Beds.
To receive free shipping: at checkout when it is time to choose
the shipping method, you must choose "Price Based" from the list
of shipping method options.

Product is Defective
Should a product be found defective, please call us within 3
days at 877-886-3917 (9 to 5 Pacific Time, Monday - Friday).
** If the product is part of a multi-pack of treats, please call us immediately if a defective package is found, even if after the 3 day period.**
No cash refunds - replacement or store credit only.
Package is damaged
Save the shipping box and all packing materials and call us at
877-886-3917, so we can instruct you on how to proceed. If you
are present at time of delivery, and see the package is damaged,
refuse acceptance, and the package will be returned to us and we
will send a replacement (original shipping fees are
non-fundable).
There is an Error with your Order
If there is an error with your order (too many, too few, wrong
item) please notify us immediately by calling our toll free
number 877-886-3917.
Note To be connected to a real purrson, listen to the
greeting, press 1 before the beep to hear more options,
then hit the star key. If we are not able to take your call, you
will be given the option to leave a voice mail message. In your
message, please leave us your name, phone number and reason for
the call. We will return your call within 24 hours Monday
through Friday.
We do our best to prevent errors - each order is checked and
double-checked prior to shipping. But we are only human (and
Alix P. Curl, as wonderful as she is, doesn't pack the orders,
though she insists she wants to help), and if something has
happened we will make it right!
No returns accepted without a Return of Merchandise
Authorization Number. You must call us prior to returning an
item.
We will send you prepaid postage, and a preaddressed label for
the return of the incorrect item(s). Upon receipt of the postage
and preaddressed label, return the item(s) within 15 days. The
item(s) must be in their original, unopened packaging. You will
receive store credit (excludes original shipping costs),or
replacement item (your choice). Replacement items will shipped
at no cost.
We do not provide store credit or exchanges on used toys,
opened treats, items not in their original unopened packaging.
To Exchange An Item
No exchanges will be granted for opened items. They must be in
their original packaging and in saleable condition. No exchanges
will be made without prior approval - you must contact us first,
and this request must be made within 15 days of receipt of your
order.
Return shipping cost of the item(s) you wish to exchange,
and shipping costs of the new item(s)back to you, are yours.
Please ask us what the shipping fee of the exchanged for items
will be and enclose a check for that amount or you may give us
your credit card information over the phone for this fee.
**Original shipping costs are non-refundable**
We are not responsible if your return is lost prior to delivery
to us, please use delivery tracking when sending a return
package to us.
